THE ISLAND AT NOON

(based on the short story by Julio Cortázar)

Noon on the dot. Marini, a flight attendant on the Paris-Beirut airline, flies over the Greek islands and is fascinated by one tiny one in particular. The island gradually becomes his obsession, a fantasy seen through a porthole. Marini decides to visit it unable to change the course of his own destiny.
